If a boy is referred to Sky Ranch For Boys and is identified as having substance abuse/use issues, he will complete the Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory (SASSI) – Adolescent Version. The results of this test will be shared with all related parties.
Substance abuse education is provided to all residents throughout their length of stay at Sky Ranch. Individual sessions may focus on the Red Road treatment module for American Indian youth.
A large focus for the adolescents engaged in this prevention education will be aftercare and relapse prevention planning. |
